From Handfasting to sealing the deal with a shot, we can make it happen. Or maybe you want the simplicity of your love to do the talking or to exchange rings in quiet brilliance, we can do that too!
I want you to feel comfortable and most importantly have fun! I work hard to ensure the entire process is stress-free from start to finish. After all, there’s enough to think about when planning a wedding, am I right?

First – The Talking Stage
Let’s start by having an really informal chat where we can find out a little more about each other and see if we could be a potential match. Zoom?
Next – We Become Official
I will send you my booking form and a fun quiz to fill in. We can arrange a further chat where we will talk and laugh and tell stories, and I can give you ideas to make your ceremony even better.
I will also connect with anyone involved with your ceremony, to ensure we are all working together to give you the BEST day.
Writing Your Ceremony Script
I will pull all the information you have given me into a creative, personalised ceremony script, making sure that it sings for you.
I will include any readings, rituals, or symbolic elements you would like to include. I can also help you write your vows if needed.
You will have plenty of time and opportunities to review, edit, make changes, and we will have plenty of contact along the way. You will never feel on your own with this.
The Big Day!
I will arrive super early to ensure everything is as it should be for when you arrive. I will liaise with the venue staff, the photographer, and your guests, to make sure everything is just right when your ceremony begins.
And of course I will come and say hi to you and your partner before we get going.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is a Celebrant ceremony legally binding?
We can do all the key parts of the ceremony like the ring exchange, vows and commitments, and anything else you want, but you will need to register it by signing a document to make it legal, much like registering a birth or death.
When registering your marriage, you don’t need to exchange rings or anything, it’s just the signing in an office, which usually costs £40 – £50.
Will I be doing the same thing twice at the registrars?
Not unless you want to. At the registrar you just sign a document and confirm you are free to marry, everything else can be done during your actual wedding.
I’m not sure our stories are interesting enough, any tips if I feel we don’t have anything to say?
Trust me, they are! Some people have loud stories, others have a quiet excellence, but they are equally wonderful. The thought of just telling someone about you life or relationship can feel overwhelming and I combat that by asking you open questions and seeing where the conversations take us. You’ll be amazed what come out when we start talking.
How many times will we speak in the run up to the wedding?
As many as you want! We will definitely have an informal chat, followed by a more in-depth chat, and there will be a questionnaire and probably some emails exchanged. But ultimately, I will be as available as you need me to be to ensure you feel supported and confident in the run-up to your big day!
Can we include religious elements?
Absolutely! We can add religious readings, elements, or rituals that are allowed to be performed. It really is whatever you would like to do.
Do you personally write everything yourself?
Damn straight! I love taking people’s love stories and weaving them into a fun, unique and personal wedding ceremony.
What areas do you cover?
I’m based just outside of (and from) London. I cover London, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Essex but I am able to travel further afield.
